The world is a scary place. Not only are we protecting our children from guns, violence and the hatred of the world, but the unseen threats of the world are increasing the allergies and tolerance of what their little bodies can handle.
Think about their tiny bodies and how miraculous they are. Honestly, what a child's body can handle is impressive. Unfortunately companies are taking shortcuts to save money and improve their bottom line by introducing products that are toxic to our bodies. I don't know about you, but I don't want to hurt my body and you better be sure I will do whatever I can to protect my babies. I really wish we didn't have to do so much research and make such huge efforts to protect our loved ones, but unfortunately we do. The FDA isn't looking out for us as much as we think, in fact our country bans only a handful of what most countries are banning these days.
I personally want to buy products that are healthy and that look out for my loved ones, but there is only so much time in the day, so I found a company that does this for me. Now my cleaning products, my skincare; my families soap, shampoo, bodywash, toothpaste and more are ALL free of harmful toxins. I am finally confident in what I am using and I know that I am taking steps to keep my family healthy. No, I can't protect my kids from everything harmful in the world, but I can protect them from the toxic products that once invaded our home. You can do the same and I encourage you to make even small changes. Its easier to make the changes now rather than looking back and say "I wish I would have!"
During the 2020 Pandemic, surrounded by fear of germs, we learned just how easy it is for our bodies to fail us. While our children's bodies are strong, the things that they interact with today can have life long effects. The choices we make for them today will likely effect the rest of their lives. I know, it sounds scary and like a lot of pressure. How can we know what's happening inside their bodies. We can't see it.
The truth is, we can't. All we can do is try our best to make the best choices with the information we have. On that note. Knowing that household items are harmful, we should try to make better choices when we choose our cleaners, our shampoos, our hairspray, our vitamins... because as much as we want to believe that all the companies selling these products have our best interests at heart, the truth is simple. They don't! Their profit margins are their main concern, so it is up to us to look out for our loved ones and make the best choices.
